Loce strolled down to the pitch, anxious to get the game started. A notice had been circulated for a pick-up game. No house lines drawn. It was a first come first serve for the positions. Any extra practice sounded good to him. There was snow on the pitch, and some flakes falling, but otherwise the sky was blue and sun shining. He quickly changed into his uniform and was out on the pitch, claiming one of the keeper positions. With four house teams, he figured the positions would fill fast. He could have played beater or chaser if needed, not nearly as well. He smirked, almost missing the tension that gearing up before an official match brought. The other positions filled quickly and soon enough there were enough players on both sides to start. Loce claimed the purple sashes for his team and passed the orange to the other. That would give them the ability to tell the teams apart given the mix of house colors on each team. It would be an interesting game. Probably not often done given the fact that the houses typically kept to themselves, insisting on keeping the lines drawn. Loce didn’t care much for house lines, except during official games that is. Then, all bets were off… Slytherin ruled…. However here and now… his team would win, it didn’t matter what color their uniforms were. He floated in front of the rings, waiting for the first chaser of each side to open the chest and start the game with the release of the snitch.
OOC: Just jump in, grab a position on a team and I’ll update the following roster with whoever joins when they claim a spot. You do not currently have to be on a house team, and you do not have to play the position you would normally play. All are welcome to play.

Heather made her way onto the pitch, broom in hand. She was excited to get back on the pitch today. And it would be fun to play with others from different houses. It would be one of the very few times the school encouraged teamwork between houses rather than rivalries. She wondered if it would be easy for everyone to work together or not. She grabbed an orange sash as it was held out for her and she slipped it over herself. She turned to see Loce on the other team as the keeper.
"Hope you were watching carefully last game to know what's coming at you," she said to him with a smile.

Boian strolled down to the pitch. He was always up for a game. It would be good to get some extra practice in. This was the first time in six years that the idea of not keeping the house lines drawn was being put into practice. It was always talked of before, but the new transfer student seemed to be spearheading this new interhouse comradery thing. He wasn’t sure where he stood on the subject. On the one hand, getting to know some of the other students could be good for business. On the other hand, what would his father say? He knew damn well what his father would say… Although it was just a game. And, he no longer had to answer to his father. He grinned as he stepped onto the pitch, knowing this was where he belonged. Loce and Heather were already in place. He grabbed an orange sash, he would give Loce a workout today. At least that was what he told himself. “Hey Heather, lets get this party started.” He said kicking off and floating next to Heather. “What’s the strategy?” He asked, curious as to if she had a plan of action. He looked down the pitch at Loce. “Don’t think I’m going to take it easy on you Vaisey.” He called, chuckling. The one advantage of playing on the same team as someone is you got to know their weaknesses. He would exploit them, but he wasn’t going to openly offer them up to the other houses.

Loce floated before the hoops, watching and waiting. Heather and Boian both took up places against him. He grinned and nodded. “I saw the game Heather. Bring your best, it won’t be good enough.” He smirked. Okay so it was supposed to be a friendly game…but a game was a game, he’d do his best regardless. He laughed at Boian. “If you did, I’d have Anneli run you some extra drills. Besides, I won’t take it easy on you either.” He laughed, shaking his head and pushing his bangs out of his eyes. “Bring it.” He shifted position, readying himself for the first attack.
