Ameryn wasn't sure at this point if she was dreaming or not... Aracely had not even glanced at her books again once. She was being playful and loose. Ameryn laughed enthusiastically at her sister, "Chaser? Okay little sister. Just try and keep up." She flicks a crumb of treacle tart in her direction, "I'll be the one flying circles around you." She chuckles, in good humor. Bantering between the two was just second nature to them. She admired Ezra for offering up lessons and fair warnings. It was really sweet, especially for having just all met. She liked him for it.
A dance. She made eye contact with her sister, sharing an unspoken agreement-- they'd both been oblivious to the dance and would promptly investigate once this picnic was over. Ameryn was especially surprised she hadn't heard of it. She wasn't the twin whose nose was always in a book.
Dates and all, eh. Ameryn ran that concept over in her mind. She glanced at Ezra, giving him a warm smile. "Hadn't heard of it, but we will definitely be going." She says, referring to her and her sister. "I know I'm not one to miss a chance to dress up and don something other than these heavy things." Ameryn lifts her arms and in a swishing motion the draping arms of her cloak sway back and forth, the red lining material, a shining satin crimson, in the sunlight.
She peeks over to Aracely, curious as to how she was absorbing the news.

Aracely feeling a bit emboldened nods her head, "Lets do it then." She says, taking herself and likely her sister by surprise. Genuinely, Aracely is shocked at herself. This good weather must have gone straight to her head. "I will join Ravenclaw quidditch, and you will give me lessons on becoming the best chaser with the fewest involvement of injuries." Another risk. This set her off her nerve a bit. Injuries meant time healing, possibly even laid up in the infirmary? That would surely impact her studies wouldn't it? She began again to play with her hands, this time picking gently at one of her fingernails: a nervous habit she has tried endlessly to stop... tried and failed. Clearly. "You tell me when and where and I will meet you."
Aracely felt a little embarrassed, firstly from not knowing of the dance and secondly of not really knowing of Isla or Gwen. To be fair, both reside outside of her house, and that typically made it harder for her to find time to interact with them. Or, that's what Aracely told herself most days. She probably could stand to spare a few minutes here and there to makes some new friends. That's why this afternoon was playing out so nicely. Ameryn must be feeling very proud of herself right now.
Aracely nods, agreeing with Ameryn's statement. As studious, serious and quiet as he normal demeanor is, she would love to attend a dance. To feel for a whole night like any other student-- there for frivolous fun and maybe even some shenanigans. Aracely needed to make time for that more than she had in the past. (More than never shouldn't be hard...) "We need to get dresses, I suppose, right Am?" She says to her sister. Dates. Oof. Nervously picking her nails she mentally tells herself to stop and, to distract herself, she runs her hand through her hair instead. Smiling kindly in Ezra's direction.

Ezra laughed as Ameryn tossed the treacle treat in her sister’s directions, wishing briefly that he had siblings and admiring the girl’s ability to naturally be herself. He liked the pairs dynamic and secretly hoped to be part of more of their interactions.
He reflected the warm smile back to Ameryn, “I’ll be happy to see you in something other than those, too.” Ezra said, almost carelessly. He realized what he said then and almost choked on his chocolate frog....“Not that I meant, ehrm…We’re usually only allowed to wear certain robes. It will be nice to see everyone show up in their own fashions.” He recovered, running his hands through his hair and smiling.
Ezra gazed back to Aracely as she agreed to join in on his lessons, both surprised and impressed. He beamed at her, “How’s Friday after class then?” He said, almost too eagerly. Ezra was excited to get back on the pitch, especially with a new teammate and beautiful girl.
He smiled at her, briefly putting his hand on her shoulder, “I’m sure you’ll look amazing in whatever you come up with,” Ezra paused, retracting his hand, “I was thinking of coming in a potato sack and goblin hat.” He said confidently before releasing a hearty laughter. Ezra had already sent out a request for his navy blue dress robes. “Well, if either of you don’t make it through today without being asked...you have a bachelor here.” He shrugged, not paying too much attention to how that came off. Ezra was willing to take his chances, he liked the two.
(OOC: I’m thinking that Ezra sends one of the girls an invitation…but we will see who?)

Ameryn cannot stop the wicked smile that turns up her lips at Ezra’s statement, the unintentional boldness to it all the more entertaining. It actually made her blush just a slight tint of pinks to her cheeks. Even though the intention wasn’t as suggestive as the way the statement could be perceived, it was really attempted recovery that made her smile. "Oh Ezra, how very forward of you." She laughs boisterously, her tone of light teasing.
She observes Ezra’s hand move, a comforting touch touch to her sister’s arm. Hmm. While she did take an instant liking to the boy, maybe it was best for her to take a step back? She’d never seen her sister so casual before… perhaps she should let her explore this avenue?
Then, of course, Ezra went ahead and said something outlandish and funny, making Ameryn laugh again. “Somehow, I think you could pull that off.” She remarks. She can’t help it. There is something so enticing about a boy who can make you laugh. She had to confront the thought- Do I want to take a step back?
Ameryn isn’t too sure how to take his bachelor remark. Did he want to go with one of the girls? Should that excite her? Did it excite Aracely? She looks at her sister with inquisitive eyes, wishing, and not for the first time, that they really had some kind of natural twin-telepathy.
(ooc: whoㅡ that is the question! lol)

Aracely turns red when Ezra speaks and the comment isn’t even directed at her. This is definitely not the day that she ahd planned and yet… she found herself okay with it. She chuckled, albeit a little awkwardsly, but, she found Ezra’s little blunder funny as well.
The direction of the conversation going back and forth between quidditch and the dance. Friday. Normally on Friday’s she would spend a few hours in the library, setting herself up for a weekend study schedule that would also determine how her following week of studies would go. “I can do Friday.” She said. I guess it’s time to shake things up a little. She thinks to herself. "I am really looking forward to it already, to be honest."
The red returns to her face evoked by Ezra’s kind compliment and physical touch. The warmth of his hand sending a pleasant shiver down her spine, which she easily covers through laughter as his potential homecoming dance outfit. “Thank you.” She says between chuckles.
If either of you don’t make it through today without being asked...you have a bachelor here. That's what Ezra said. Aracely smiles, but tries to dissect his meaning... Did he want one of them to ask him? Should she just ask him right now? Aracely looked at Ameryn, unsure what to do.

Ezra chuckled again as Ameryn smiled, running his hand through his hair. "I'm not usually so bold." He said, his tone friendly. A small blush formed on his face. Ezra smiled and looked away, hoping to potentially conceal it. There was a grand mixture of emotions sitting with the two girls. He laughed again, "Not sure if I could pull of the potato sack and goblin hat alone. Maybe if I tossed in some REALLY dazzling dance shoes I might be able to get away with it..." Ezra glanced to Aracely. Her black hair was dazzling him now, drifting in the breeze.
"Brilliant!" He said enthusiastically. Ezra was thrilled she agreed to the lessons, wondering momentarily how much training she would need before next match. "I'll see you then. Meet at the pitch, Friday around 4? We'll still have an hour or two of daylight." He winked, unable to suppress his excitement.
Ezra glanced to both girls then, moving to stand up. "Well, I think I've imposed my stay on your gracious blanket long enough. I need to get to class anyway." He said casually, picking up his telescope. "Took on an extra class this year, stupidly." He laughed. "It was nice to meet both of you. Maybe we can all chat again some time? I have a few friends around the castle always up for a good hang out." He smiled graciously to them both, pulling his back over his shoulder and turning from the pair.
"Aracely, see you on the pitch!" He turned on his heel to call back to her, casting a smile before he walked back down the hill.
